Why do you say attachment is corruption? | J. Krishnamurti

Why do you say attachment is corruption? | J. Krishnamurti Yeah more "explain" and understanding of attachment is corruption. New key point is that "detachment" (seeking opposite) is a root of attachment in itself... When I am neither attached. nor detached to anyone including myself, then my love is for the whole of humanity. Somehow like non-violent or freedom "topic".

When I am in confusion, how is it possible to see clearly? | J. Krishnamurti

When I am in confusion, how is it possible to see clearly? | J. Krishnamurti ... in that confuse, doesn't choose, doesn't commit itself ... and because it doesn't choose, it is already clear. Because it doesn't commit itself to any action, it is already clear. Therefore out of this clarity, out of this confusion, when there is no choice, when there is no commitment, there is no "I will do this, I will do that"  ... come great clarity. And this clarity itself is the ACTION. ...

https://jkrishnamurti.org/content/freedom-love-and-responsibility Love is the missing factor; there is a lack of affection, of warmth in relationship; and because we lack that love, that tenderness, that generosity, that mercy in relationship, we escape into mass action, which produces further confusion, further misery. Love, and don't be caught in opinions and ideas bout what love is or should be. When I understand myself, I understand you, and out of that understanding comes love...   It is love alone that leads to right action. What brings order in the world is to love and let love do what it will. You want to be loved because you do not love; but the moment you love, it is finished, you are no longer inquiring whether or not somebody loves you. Freedom means love not anything else. It is like love: the moment you say that you love, you cease to love. Because then love is merely mentation, a feeling, an emotion, in which there is jealousy, hate, envy and greed. So time cea...

Love, freedom, goodness, beauty are one

This is the last talk. We were talking about the art of living yesterday. I think we ought to go much more into it. Most of us have given very little thought to that, we have hardly enquired into the nature of what life is, and how to live it. Our daily life, with all its ugly turmoil, passing pleasures, and a great deal of entertainment, both religious and otherwise. We have studied almost all the academic subjects, spent years to become a doctor, a surgeon or an engineer, and the engineer never asks how. He has studied perhaps five or six years, has learnt a great deal of information, stresses, strains and the material and so on - he never asks how to build a bridge, because that is his job. But we, ordinary people like us, we are always asking how. How am I to live a life without any conflict, without any of the problems that are involved in our daily unfortunate lives. We are always striving, reaching out, getting somewhere, and when a question, a challenge is put before you, ...

This dependence creates fear, breeds in us possessiveness, results in friction, suspicion, frustration. http://www.ibe.unesco.org/sites/default/files/krishnamurtie.pdf Chapter 66 - Without responsibility there is no freedom From "The Whole Movement of Life is Learning"

Intellectual understanding is really not understanding at all; it is only a series of words...

Intellectual understanding is really not understanding at all; it is only a series of words, and we think we understand those words and the content of those words, and we seem to think we understand the idea intellectually. But what you hear is unrelated to daily action, to a total limit, and communion is only possible when there is a direct relationship: communication then becomes much more interesting, much more vital, more significant, meaningful. https://jkrishnamurti.org/content/being-alone-means-being-innocent-0
